We serve a student population of more than 2600 students. There are four elementary schools for grades K-5 and one middle school for grades 6-8. To visit our school websites, use the Schools link on the menu to the left. At District 70, we strive to provide a variety of educational opportunities and involvement for the entire community. We offer a comprehensive K-8 curriculum, including language arts, mathematics, science, social science, physical education, art, music, and international languages. The middle school program features grade level teams, elective and exploratory offerings, outdoor education, and many other extracurricular activities. A special program is provided to identify gifted students in the 4th through 8th grade levels. We also provide a full program and wide range of professional services, including guidance counselors, social workers, and psychologists, to assist students with developmental and academic concerns. District 70 is an area leader in utilizing an inclusionary model for delivery of special education services.
