This page is for KINDERGARTEN and NEW STUDENTS grades 1-8 who will be attending D70 schools for the first time in the 2017-2018 school year. The information parents need to complete the process is contained herein. Please start with the "Pre-Registration Form" below. STEPS for Registration
1 STEP 1 Pre-Registration Form
Complete the online Pre-Registration form. If you do not have access to a computer, please call the district office at 847-362-9695 and make an appointment to meet with someone here.

2 STEP 2 Complete Required Forms
Complete the additional required forms in this packet. Packet includes Checklist, Residency Verification (you will need to also provide 3 proofs of residency along with the form), Family Background Form, and Consent for Exchange of Information. Please follow the instructions on each form.

3STEP 3 Provide Original Birth Certificate
Parents must bring a Birth Certificate with an official seal, to the registrar. A hospital certificate is not sufficient. (We will make a copy and return your original.)

4STEP 4 Meet with Registrar
Make an appointment to meet with the registrar. The registrar will go over forms, verify residency, copy the birth certificate and answer any questions you may have. Call 847-362-9695 and ask for the registrar.

5STEP 5 Infosnap Online Registration
Infosnap is the final step in the process. After steps 1, 2, 3 and 4 from above are complete you will receive your "snapcode" and will be able to access Infosnap to complete the online registration process. NOTE: Please use the link in the email you receive which will take you to the Infosnap site.

6STEP 6 Attend Kindergarten Orientation
**2017-2018 Kindergarten Students and Parents ** Plan to attend Kindergarten Orientation on April 18, 2017 from 6:00 - 7:00 PM at your child's school. You will have the opportunity to meet one of the kindergarten teachers, as well as other staff members, and you will learn more about the kindergarten program.

This packet contains information about USDA income guidelines to be used in determining whether your family is eligible for free or reduced price meals. It also includes the 2017-2018 District 70 Waiver of Fees form and the Application for Free or Reduced Meals. Download the packet, print the forms then complete them and bring to the District Office with appropriate documentation.
